Six Week Meditation Course for Beginners – Didsbury

This six week course will introduce you to a variety of meditation styles, all aimed at helping you to find that inner stillness and calm, and create a haven away from the hustle and bustle of today’s fast paced lifestyle.

All meditation styles taught on the course are secularĀ  (with no religious affiliation) and throughout the courses, you will learn techniques to help with stress, anxiety and coping with the general busyness of life.

I will also aim to help you develop your own daily practice throughout this six weeks, providing advice on forming a daily habit – which is important in helping maintain the calmness we create whilst practicing meditation.

The course is aimed at beginners, so no experience of meditation is necessary, you will be taught everything you need to know to help kick start your practice throughout the 6 weeks.

Sessions will cover the following:

Week 1 – Breathing Techniques
Week 2 – Mindfulness Meditation
Week 3 – Mantra Meditation
Week 4 – Loving Kindness Meditation
Week 5 – Visualisation
Week 6 – Overview of course, with help and advice on continuing with your own practice.
