The intermediate meditation course is for those who have already attended the beginners meditation course a Orange Bloom Yoga, or who have already developed their own meditation practice, but would like to explore different styles of meditation.

Throughout the course, as well as practising a variety of types of meditation, we will also explore some of the theory behind the practice; for example, how meditation helps us to access our subconscious mind, changes our brainwaves and influences our relationship with ourselves and others. The course will allow for longer sessions of meditation and self-reflection, helping you to deepen your own practice both during and outside of the class.

Classes are run by Catherine Banks, from Elestial Therapy. Catherine is a trained and accredited Meditation teacher and works with the British School of Meditation, teaching meditation and training others to teach. Although all meditation styles taught in these classes are secular, Catherine draws on her own experience of meditation teachers throughout Asia, in both the Buddhist and Hindu religions, as well as her own personal experience of using meditation to overcome anxiety and depression.
